Meet Our Team

Pat, our Clinic Manager has been a valuable member of our team for nearly 40 years.  Having her education in Business Administration as well as her Masters Certification in Human Resources from Villanova University, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our team.  She is always available to ensure all goes well within the offices.  Feel free to ask for her by name if you need assistance.  Pat is active in our community with organizations like, the American Cancer Society-Relay for Life, Dorothy’s Kitchen and I-Help shelter outreach. 

 

 

 

 

 

Joann, our Administrative Assistant, works in both our Salinas and Monterey offices. Her expertise lies in customer service. She works with insurance companies and benefit determinations on a regular basis. Joann is a Salinas native and knows the area like the back of her hand. You can always find her visiting with someone about the surrounding area, or her love for the youth in the local 4-H.

 

 

 

 

Sandy, one of our Surgical Assistants began her dental career in general dentistry in 2017. She enjoyed the field so much she obtained her Registered Dental Assisting license two years later. She quickly realized surgery was where she wanted to work. She is compassionate and thorough in all of her patient care. She enjoys reading, traveling, and watching independent films in her spare time.

 

 

Lilia, one of our Surgical Assistants decided to enter the dental field because she had such a great experience as a youth in orthodontic care. She always found the work the dental assistant did interesting.  Lilia strives to deliver a great experience to each and every one of our patients.  Lilia’s educational background is the Regional Occupational Program.  In her free time she enjoys keeping active, going to the beach, and spending fun times with friends and family.

 

 

 

 

Nora, one of our Registered Dental Hygienist born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula, with over 30 years of hygiene experience and some prior years of dental assisting, we are lucky to have such a qualified dental team member. She graduated from Cabrillo College’s Hygiene Program in 1989 with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene.  Nora obtained her Bachelors of Science Health Arts Degree from the University of St. Francis Illinois in 2000.   Her attention to detail and enthusiasm to maintain high and current standards in the profession of periodontics are truly appreciated by her patients and dental team.  She has been an integral part of our practice since 1995.  She loves educating her patients on their oral health and believes that creating a healthy oral environment leads to overall better health. 

Nora is a member of the Carmel Art Association and MPC Printmakers.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, painting, printing, and hiking.  She is the proud owner of “Little Man II”, her cat.

 

 

 

 

Judith, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists in the Salinas Valley, has over 46 yrs. of Periodontal and General Practice experience as a Dental Hygienist and 10 years as a Periodontal Surgical Assistant. While working as a surgical assistant, Judith went to school every night after work to achieve her 2-year general education requirement prior to her acceptance into the 2-year Dental Hygiene Program. After graduating from the Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene Program at the top of her class, she knew her focus was to educate without lectures, with sensitivity for those previously traumatized in dentistry, and lots of light laughter. Having had many harsh dental experiences many years ago herself, she will do anything possible to make the patient feel safe, comfortable and in control. At the same time, her attention to meticulousness has drawn patients to repeatedly compliment her about her “thorough” periodontal treatments. In her free time, she spends much time with her horses, husband of 42 years, snow skiing, gardening, canning and her three grandbabies.

 

 

 

Holly, one of our Registered Dental Hygienist brings over 30 years of experience with a strong focus in both General Practice and Periodontal Care. A graduate of Pima Community College and O’Hehir University, she is passionate about patient education and delivering compassionate thorough care. Holly values teamwork, continued learning and building lasting patient relationships. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, hiking, and anytime with family.

 

 

 

Maria has joined our team fresh from school. She attended the Monterey County R.O.P. and is interested in furthering her dental career in periodontics. In her spare time Maria loves hanging out with her dog on long walks and her friends.
